We've had the joy and privilege of calling Lake Norman home for over 22 years — raising our four sons here, building friendships, and falling deeper in love with this remarkable community with every passing season.

Life on Lake Norman is lived outdoors. People move here for the water, the weather, and the unhurried pace of spending long afternoons with family and friends on the dock, the patio, or the back lawn. We saw firsthand how much of life happens outside — and we noticed a gap and wanted to offer truly high-quality outdoor furniture that matched the beauty and intention people bring to the rest of their homes.

That's why we started The Garden Room LKN. We believe your outdoor space should be as comfortable, as personal, and as beautifully considered as any room inside your home. Whether you're creating a lakeside retreat, a backyard gathering space, or furnishing an event that deserves to be remembered — we're here to help you get it exactly right.

In 2026, we expanded our business to include outdoor furniture rentals based on a growing trend of outdoor events. We offer rentals for realtors and designers who are staging a home, as well as for event rentals such as outdoor weddings and special occasions.

We are proud to offer local representation and are personally involved in every sale. We're always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and happily source specific pieces you may be searching for. This isn't just a business to us — it's a reflection of the life we love living here.
