Our family of six moved to the Lake Norman area from Boston 19 years ago because of the weather and the life style it affords. We, like all of our neighbors and friends, love to be outside. We eat dinner on the deck most evenings from March until the last warm days of Autumn. There is nothing better than enjoying the first cup of coffee in the morning looking out at the lake except for maybe enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset and nothing brings a group together better than relaxing at the end of a long day in front of a fire pit.
Our outdoor living spaces are as important to us as our indoor spaces. The outdoor furniture market is the fastest growing segment in the furniture business for good reason. We believed that there was a need in the lake region for access to quality outdoor furniture and living products that was not being met and thus The Garden Room was born. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to find our beautiful space in an historic building on N. Main Street in Downtown Mooresville. The downtown is going through a resurgence with the addition of fabulous new restaurants, boutique stores, new apartments and fabulous parks. We are thrilled to be a part of this community and hope that you will enjoy The Garden Room and our products as much as we do.

We showcase as many of our product types as possible in the store, but also have access to hundreds more so if you can't find what you like on display we can most likely order it for you
It can be difficult to find outdoor furniture to accommodate larger spaces. We carry furniture to meet the needs of small spaces as well as those requiring estate size proportions
As the owners of a small business we take pride in striving to offer the highest quality customer service. We work hard to be educated about all of our products so that our customers can make informed purchasing decisions. We offer guidance in finding the right products for your particular needs and can offer referrals for design services if that would be helpful. We also offer in home delivery and set up for an additional fee.
